WeatherPorch intends to earn a commission when you buy a product after clicking a link on this site, at no extra cost to you. This page explains what that means and, honestly, what is and isn't active yet.

Current status

As of this page's last update, no affiliate tracking ID is active on this site. Links to manufacturer product pages go directly to that manufacturer — we do not currently earn anything from them. We are applying to affiliate programs (Amazon Associates and select manufacturer programs) and will update this page and mark individual links the moment any of them go live.

How it will work once active

• Outbound product links may include a tracking code that identifies the click as coming from WeatherPorch.
• If you buy through that link, we may receive a commission from the retailer or manufacturer.
• This never changes the price you pay.
• We do not accept payment to rank a product higher or to write a specific conclusion.

Why it matters

Affiliate income is how independent, ad-light sites like this one stay funded. We disclose it because the FTC requires clear disclosure of affiliate relationships, and because you deserve to know the incentive behind a recommendation.
